Dawn of the Paper Billionaire
I’m coming out of the shadows.
If you’ve followed my work for a long time, you already know that I’ve been a leader for nearly 50 years. You also know that I was the inventor of AI—or at least AI that people could actually buy and use. If you’re new here, take a look at the section about Floater Corporation.
If you’ve visited my other site, then you know I’ve spent the past 13+ years developing my own version of AI—one that does not suffer from the limitations of today’s LLM systems. Their systems scrape data. My system generates new data in a closed-loop structure that becomes smarter every time it is used. Their systems are positioned as tools for eliminating jobs. My system is designed to create jobs.
Now, I’m in my late 60s, and I’m not a billionaire. Or am I?
Take a look at the websites associated with GRAYBELT. I do own assets with a value of more than $1 billion. But like any software-based asset, that value remains theoretical until the system is brought into production. That is where this new effort begins.
The Paper Billionaire project will include both a YouTube channel and a Substack. My goal is to help people understand the reality of AI and show them how to protect their jobs. As one of the original hackers, I bring decades of firsthand experience to this subject.
In the 1980s and 1990s, technology moved so quickly that almost every year meant buying a new PC and learning an entirely new wave of tools and ideas. I believe much of the advice currently being given to developers is wrong. I intend to prove that—and to offer practical suggestions for staying employed in a rapidly changing world.
And speaking of employment, read about the layoff support network on this site. I have extensive experience helping people find jobs.
My Substack articles are here, and I can promise you this: you will find ideas there that you have not seen anywhere else. What can someone with nearly 50 years of hacking experience teach you about AI?
Read the Substack and find out.
