CISOware

After returning from Russia 13 years ago, I collaborated with colleagues, all pioneers in Information Security, to create a functional spec for software that introduced a new category of response management. This software can be applied to any organization with a document outlining procedures for handling incidents, such as missing children, FEMA responses, or malware attacks.

In crisis situations, teams need the latest version of the document, but that's rarely the case, especially post-COVID. A better solution than PDF libraries would be a mobile app showing a step-by-step to-do list with linked instructions, allowing real-time task updates across all team members' devices. However, custom apps for each organization are expensive and inefficient, especially as tasks and documents change.

My solution is an app generator that customizes to each organization's needs while maintaining the same core functionality. It turns Word or Excel documents into an app with assigned tasks, documentation, and a virtual forum for team collaboration. The app is compiled and distributed securely to team members' mobile devices through a proprietary, unhackable system, ensuring data safety.

This system allows seamless task management, real-time communication, and automatic updates. A virtual "Project Manager" tracks progress and notifies others if tasks aren't completed, suggesting replacements if necessary. Once the situation ends, all communication is archived, allowing for performance review and comparison to previous incidents.
